The first thing most people want to know is the price. The honest answer is that the daily rate is only part of it. Here is how pricing works so you can compare quotes properly.

Indicative daily rates

Our starting rates give a sense of the range. They are indicative and depend on dates and route; we confirm a fixed quote before you travel.

• Small hatchbacks such as the Maruti Alto: from about NPR 3,000 a day
• Sedans such as the Maruti Dzire or Toyota Corolla: from about NPR 5,000 to 7,000 a day
• Electric cars: from about NPR 6,500 a day
• SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta or Toyota Fortuner: from about NPR 8,000 to 13,000 a day
• Hiace van: from about NPR 12,000 a day; Coaster bus: from about NPR 18,000 a day

What changes the final price

• Self-drive or with a driver, and the driver's allowance on overnight trips
• Fuel, which is not included in the daily rate
• Route and distance, especially one-way trips where the car must return empty
• Season: Dashain, Tihar and peak autumn weeks are in highest demand
• Rental length, since longer rentals can be quoted at a better daily rate
• Tolls, parking and any permits for particular areas

The security deposit

Self-drive rentals need a refundable security deposit, returned when the car comes back in the same condition. Ask us about the amount for your chosen car before you book.
